They were around 7 years old when the other half moved in to my 4th floor Maisonette in central Portsmouth. They had to become indoor cats, with a fenced off balcony to investigate instead of their 80 foot long garden. Spending the first weekend sharing my 2 daughters bedroom hiding under the bunk beds. They eventually adjusted well over the years until Smudge was taken by Hyperthyroidism, in August 2013 aged around 19 years old. Mops sadly went over the bridge in October 2018 at the age of 24, natural causes/old age.

I took many pics of them over the years, some on memory cards that have been in camera’s for ages and never transferred to other media.

Smudge was a Tortie and Mops a Black & White.
